Los Angeles, CA – Rachelle Thomas-Green
Rachelle Thomas-Green is a California native, with a BA in Ethnic Studies from California State University, East Bay. Mrs. Green is honored to be a T.R.I.P Ambassador and has quickly developed relationships with other non-profit organizations to help the underserved. She was recently selected to study in China at the Beijing Center for Chinese Studies where she was immersed in Chinese history, culture, politics and language. As a wife and mother of two, she emphasizes cultural respect and shared responsibility within her growing family. As a T.R.I.P. Ambassador, Rachelle hopes to affect change in her community and in the Global Community.
Sonya N. Williams is a native New Yorker with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics with a minor in Marketing from the University of Maryland at College Park. Sonya is a certified Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) trainer, with advanced certificates in safety and emergency planning. Sonya is a board member of her children’s school PTA, active member of her church, volunteer for a local Girl Scout Troop and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and helping others. As a T.R.I.P. Ambassador for Maryland, Sonya hopes to impact those less fortunate while setting an example for her children and others in the midst of sharing the mission of T.R.I.P. Sonya currently resides in the Washington, D.C. Metro area with her husband and two children.
New York, New York – Scheron Brown
Scheron Brown, a New York City native, is a seasoned Human Resources executive with a global public relations and advertising firm. She graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, and holds her SPHR certification. Scheron is passionate about people, animals, her community and helping them thrive. She is a member, benefactor and volunteer with several professional, advocacy and community organizations lending her time, career expertise, and serving as a mentor to young adults. Now as a T.R.I.P. Ambassador, she is excited to spread their mission of travel and volunteerism to help rebuild and enhance communities in her local area.
Oakland/Bay Area, CA – Rashida Hanif
Rashida Hanif is passionate about inspiring change and enjoying it all along the way. Combining her passion for international travel with her focus on Development Studies at UC Berkeley, she has led multiple, successful fundraising and volunteer initiatives both domestically and internationally in partnership with numerous non-profit organizations. She has enthusiastically participated in many T.R.I.P. projects since its inception and is very excited to take on the role as a T.R.I.P. Ambassador!
